Summary

CVE-2024-13392 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Rate Star Review Vote plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.6.3, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the 'videowhisper_reviews' shortcode. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability results in the execution of injected scripts whenever a user accesses an affected page.
