Summary
CVE-2024-13366 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Sandbox plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the 'debug' parameter in all versions up to 0.4. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, allowing them to execute harmful code if a user is tricked into taking a specific action, like clicking on a malicious link. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to WordPress websites running the Sandbox plugin with outdated versions.
