Summary
CVE-2024-13333 is a vulnerability affecting the Advanced File Manager plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the 'fma_local_file_system' function, which fails to validate file types in versions 5.2.12 to 5.2.13. As a consequence, authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and upload permissions can upload arbitrary files onto the server. This vulnerability may potentially lead to remote code execution, provided the "Display .htaccess?" setting is enabled.
