Summary
CVE-2024-52875 is a vulnerability affecting GFI Kerio Control versions 9.2.5 to 9.4.5. The issue lies in the improper sanitization of the dest GET parameter used in certain pages, including /nonauth/addCertException.cs, /nonauth/guestConfirm.cs, and /nonauth/expiration.cs. This can enable Open Redirect or HTTP Response Splitting attacks, which may lead to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). The most serious consequence of this vulnerability is the potential for remote command execution by exploiting the upgrade feature in the admin interface.
