Summary

CVE-2024-13155 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Unlimited Elements For Elementor plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 1.5.140, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the Transparent Split Hero widget. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. To mitigate this risk, the affected Transparent Split Hero widget must be deleted and manually reinstalled.
