Summary

CVE-2024-13057 is a vulnerability affecting the Dyn Business Panel WordPress plugin before version 1.0.0. This issue allows attackers to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks through a CSRF vector. The plugin fails to implement Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection in certain areas, and lacks input sanitization and escaping. As a result, an attacker can inject malicious scripts into the plugin, which are then stored and executed on the admin dashboard whenever a vulnerable action is triggered. This can lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or further exploitation. Administrators are advised to update the plugin as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
