Summary

CVE-2024-12910 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the latest version of the `run-llama/llama_index` repository's `KnowledgeBaseWebReader` class. An attacker can exploit this flaw by manipulating a URL variable to trigger infinite recursive calls to the `get_article_urls` method. This DoS condition exhausts system resources and may lead to the application crashing.
