Summary
CVE-2024-12719 is a vulnerability affecting the WordPress File Upload plugin. In all versions up to 4.24.15, there is a missing capability check on the 'wfu_ajax_action_read_subfolders' function. This issue grants authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, the ability to perform limited path traversal and access directories and subdirectories within WordPress. However, they cannot view the actual file contents.
