Summary
CVE-2024-12633 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the JoomSport plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 5.6.17 are affected. The issue stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the 'page' parameter. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability by injecting arbitrary web scripts, making it possible to execute malicious code on pages when users are tricked into performing certain actions, such as clicking on a malicious link.
