Summary

CVE-2024-12590 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WP Youtube Gallery plugin for WordPress. This issue, which exists in all versions up to and including 1.9, allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The 'id' parameter, which is subjected to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, is the point of entry for these malicious inputs. As a result, pages containing injected scripts will execute whenever a user accesses them.
