Summary
CVE-2024-12590 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WP Youtube Gallery plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 1.9, allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts via the 'id' parameter. The insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the plugin enable the attacker to execute their code whenever a user accesses an injected page, potentially leading to unintended actions or data exposure.
