Summary

CVE-2024-12581 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the Gutenberg Blocks with AI plugin for WordPress, specifically versions up to and including 3.2.53. The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings. Authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions can exploit this flaw to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, which will execute when a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability only impacts multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
