Summary
CVE-2024-12568 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Email Subscribers by Icegram Express WordPress plugin before version 5.7.45. This issue allows high privilege users, including admins, to inject malicious scripts into Workflow settings, bypassing the unfiltered_html capability restriction, even in multisite setups. Attackers can leverage this weakness to execute arbitrary code and gain unauthorized access to sensitive data or take control of the affected WordPress site.
