Summary

CVE-2024-12552 is a local privilege escalation vulnerability affecting Wacom Center's WTabletServicePro Link. An attacker must initially gain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system. By manipulating symbols, an attacker can exploit this flaw in WTabletServicePro.exe, enabling them to create arbitrary files and escalate privileges, potentially gaining SYSTEM-level access. This vulnerability, previously identified as ZDI-CAN-25359, poses a significant risk if exploited.
