CVE-2024-12522: A vulnerability has been identified in the Yay! Forms plugin for WordPress, affecting versions up to and including 1.2.1. This issue allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) code using the plugin's 'yayforms' shortcode. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes lead to this vulnerability, enabling attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts whenever users access injected pages.
