Summary

CVE-2024-12462 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the YOGO Booking plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions 1.6.2 and below, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the 'yogo-calendar' shortcode. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts. These scripts will be executed whenever an injected page is accessed, posing a significant security risk.
