Summary

CVE-2024-12452 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Ziggeo plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 3.1, impacts pages with the 'ziggeo_event' shortcode. The flaw is due to insufficient sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or above can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
