Summary

CVE-2024-12435 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Compare Products for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 3.2.1 are impacted by this issue. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by injecting arbitrary web scripts into pages through the 's_feature' parameter, which lacks sufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This enables unauthenticated attackers to execute malicious code, potentially leading to data theft or site takeover, if a user is tricked into performing a specific action, such as clicking on a malicious link.
