Summary

CVE-2024-12279 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the WP Social AutoConnect plugin for WordPress. Versions up to 4.6.2 are impacted by this issue. The vulnerability stems from flawed or absent nonce validation on a specific function, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts into targeted sites. To exploit this weakness, an attacker needs to trick a site administrator into executing a malicious action, such as clicking a crafted link.
