CVE-2024-12221: The Turnkey bbPress plugin, a popular WordPress solution by WeaverTheme, has been identified with a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Affecting versions up to and including 1.6.3, this issue stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability by injecting arbitrary web scripts, which can execute when a user performs certain actions, like clicking on a manipulated link.
