Summary

CVE-2024-12152 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the MIPL WC Multisite Sync plugin for WordPress. The issue permits unauthenticated attackers to conduct directory traversal attacks via the 'mipl_wc_sync_download_log' action. This vulnerability allows attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, potentially exposing sensitive information. Versions of the plugin up to and including 1.1.5 are reportedly impacted. It is recommended that users update their plugins as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
