Summary
CVE-2024-12063 is a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability affecting the file upload feature of imartinez/privategpt version v0.6.2. The issue arises due to inadequate handling of form-data containing oversized filenames in upload requests. An adversary can exploit this flaw by submitting a payload with an abnormally large filename, which results in the server being inundated and unresponsive, preventing legitimate users from accessing the service.
