Summary

CVE-2024-11940 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Property Hive Mortgage Calculator plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.0.6, allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk. The root cause is insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the plugin's 'price' parameter.
