Summary

CVE-2024-11897: A critical vulnerability has been identified in the Contact Form, Survey & Form Builder plugin, specifically MightyForms, for WordPress. This issue, affecting versions up to 1.3.9, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to execute arbitrary web scripts. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the 'mightyforms' shortcode. Consequently, whenever a user accesses an injected page, the malicious scripts will be executed.
