CVE-2024-11887

Summary

CVE-2024-11887 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Geo Content plugin for WordPress. This issue, which impacts versions up to and including 6.0, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject malicious scripts into the 'geotargetlygeocontent' shortcode. By exploiting insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes, attackers can execute arbitrary web scripts whenever a user visits an injected page.
