Summary

CVE-2024-11853 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the jAlbum Bridge plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 2.0.15, allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts through the 'ar' parameter. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, resulting in the executed scripts being stored in pages. Consequently, any user who accesses an injected page will unwittingly trigger the malicious code.
