CVE-2024-11810

Summary

CVE-2024-11810 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the PayGreen Payment Gateway plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.0.26 are vulnerable due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the 'message_id' parameter. An attacker can exploit this weakness by injecting arbitrary web scripts, allowing them to execute malicious code in a user's browser when that user clicks on a specially crafted link. This security flaw puts WordPress websites using the PayGreen plugin at risk for data breaches and unauthorized access.
