Summary

CVE-2024-11796 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Fuji Electric Monitouch V-SFT V9C. This issue arises due to inadequate validation of user-supplied data during file parsing, leading to an out-of-bounds write condition. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious V9C file or luring the target to a malicious page. Successful exploitation grants the attacker the ability to execute arbitrary code in the context of the affected installation.
