CVE-2024-11786

Summary

CVE-2024-11786 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Login with Vipps and MobilePay plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.3.3, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the 'continue-with-vipps' shortcode. Consequently, when an user accesses an injected page, the injected scripts will be executed.
