Summary

CVE-2024-11784 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Sell Tickets Online – TicketSource Ticket Shop plugin for WordPress. The flaw, present in all versions up to 3.0.2, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's 'ticketshop' shortcode. Successful exploitation results in the injection of scripts that execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
