Summary

CVE-2024-11782 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WP Mailster plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions 1.8.17.0 and below, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the 'mst_subscribe' shortcode. Successful exploitation enables attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts whenever an injected page is accessed.
