CVE-2024-11764

Summary

CVE-2024-11764 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Solar Wizard Lite plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions 1.2.4 and below, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into pages via the plugin's 'solar_wizard' shortcode. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes are the root causes of this flaw. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary web scripts whenever an injected page is accessed by users.
