Summary

CVE-2024-11764 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Solar Wizard Lite plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions 1.2.4 and below, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's 'solar_wizard' shortcode. Successful exploitation of this flaw results in the execution of malicious scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
