CVE-2024-11757 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WP GeoNames plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.9.0.1, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. As a result, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts into the 'wp-geonames' shortcode.
