Summary

CVE-2024-11726 is a vulnerability affecting the Appointment Booking Calendar Plugin and Scheduling Plugin – BookingPress for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to execute SQL injection attacks via the 'category' parameter of the 'bookingpress_form' shortcode. The vulnerability arises from insufficient escaping on user-supplied data and a lack of sufficient preparation of the existing SQL queries. Consequently, attackers can append additional SQL queries to extract sensitive information from the database. Versions up to and including 1.1.21 are impacted.
