Summary
CVE-2024-11723 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the kvCORE IDX plugin for WordPress. This issue exists in all versions up to and including 2.3.35 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability by injecting arbitrary web scripts into pages containing the kvcoreidx_listings_sitemap_ranges, kvcoreidx_listings_sitemap_page, kvcoreidx_agent_profile_sitemap, or kvcoreidx_agent_profile shortcodes. Successful exploitation allows attackers to execute malicious scripts in users' browsers when they click on a specially crafted link.
