Summary

CVE-2024-11643 is a vulnerability in the Accessibility by AllAccessible plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher to bypass a capability check, enabling them to modify arbitrary options on affected sites. The 'AllAccessible_save_settings' function, present in all versions up to 1.3.4, is the root cause of this vulnerability. Successful exploitation can result in privilege escalation, allowing attackers to update the default role for registration to administrator and gain administrative user access.
