Summary

CVE-2024-11641 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability affecting the VikBooking Hotel Booking Engine & PMS plugin for WordPress. Versions up to 1.7.2 are impacted by this issue, which arises from inadequate nonce validation on the 'save' function. Consequentially, an attacker can manipulate plugin access settings by forging requests and persuade a site administrator into executing these requests. The exploitation of this vulnerability grants attackers with subscriber-level privileges or higher the ability to upload arbitrary files, potentially leading to remote code execution.
