Summary
CVE-2024-11577 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Luxion KeyShot. Malicious SKP files can trigger an out-of-bounds write issue during file parsing, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations. The flaw arises due to insufficient validation of user-supplied data. User interaction, such as visiting a malicious page or opening a malicious file, is required to exploit this vulnerability. ZDI-CAN-23685 reported this issue prior to its public disclosure.
