Summary
CVE-2024-11576 is a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Luxion KeyShot's 3DS file parsing process. This issue allows remote code execution, making affected installations of Luxion KeyShot susceptible to attacks. The flaw arises due to insufficient validation of user-supplied data lengths prior to buffer copying. Exploitation requires user interaction through visiting a malicious page or opening a malicious file. This vulnerability was identified as ZDI-CAN-23681.
