CVE-2024-11466

Summary

CVE-2024-11466 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Intro Tour Tutorial DeepPresentation plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 6.5.2 are susceptible to this issue. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the 'tab' parameter. Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, posing a threat if users are tricked into performing certain actions, such as clicking on malicious links. This vulnerability can lead to hijacking user sessions, stealing sensitive information, or executing malicious code.
