Summary

CVE-2024-11445 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Image Magnify plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.1, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The shortcoming lies in the plugin's 'image_magnify' shortcode, which fails to properly sanitize and escape user-supplied attributes. As a result, whenever a user accesses an injected page, the injected scripts will be executed.
