CVE-2024-11430

Summary

CVE-2024-11430 is a vulnerability affecting the SQL Chart Builder plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject SQL queries into existing ones through the 'arg1' argument of the 'gvn_schart_2' shortcode. The vulnerability stems from insufficient escaping of user-supplied data and inadequate preparation of SQL queries. As a result, attackers can extract sensitive information from the database. All versions up to and including 2.3.6 are impacted.
