Summary

CVE-2024-11419: This vulnerability affects the Password for WP plugin for WordPress, allowing unauthenticated attackers to execute malicious actions by performing a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attack. The issue lies in the get3_init_admin_page() function, which fails to properly validate nonces. As a result, attackers can trick site administrators into clicking on malicious links, leading to settings updates and the injection of web scripts. All versions up to and including 1.3 are impacted.
