Summary

CVE-2024-11417 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the dejure.org Vernetzungsfunktion plugin for WordPress. This issue exists in all versions up to and including 1.97.5 and stems from flawed nonce validation on the djo_einstellungen_menue() function. Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can manipulate settings and introduce malicious web scripts by deceiving site administrators into executing a malicious link. This vulnerability poses a significant risk and requires immediate remediation.
