Summary

CVE-2024-11387 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Easy Liveblogs plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions 2.3.5 and below, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's 'elb_liveblog' shortcode. As a result, when an injected page is accessed, the injected scripts will execute, posing a significant security risk.
