Summary

CVE-2024-11383 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the CC Canadian Mortgage Calculator plugin for WordPress. Versions up to 2.1.0 are susceptible to this issue. The flaw arises due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's 'cc-mortgage-canada' shortcode. An authenticated attacker with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts, which execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
