Summary

CVE-2024-11382 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Common Ninja plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.1.0, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's 'commonninja' shortcode. Successful exploitation results in the execution of arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
