Summary

CVE-2024-11382 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Common Ninja plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.1.0, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's 'commonninja' shortcode. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk.
