Summary
CVE-2024-11342 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Skt NURCaptcha plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 3.5.0 are susceptible to this issue. The root cause is the lack of proper nonce validation in the skt-nurc-admin.php file. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can manipulate settings and inject malicious web scripts by tricking site administrators into performing certain actions, such as clicking on malicious links. This poses a significant security risk and requires immediate attention and patching from WordPress site owners using the affected plugin.
