Summary

CVE-2024-11339 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Smart PopUp Blaster plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 1.4.3, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's 'spb-button' shortcode. As a result, any page that includes an injected 'spb-button' will execute the attacker's scripts whenever a user accesses it.
