Summary

CVE-2024-11338 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the PIXNET Plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 2.9.10, allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to inject malicious scripts into pages via the 'gtm' and 'venue' parameters. The insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the plugin enable the execution of these scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation could lead to unintended website functionality, data theft, or user compromise. It is recommended that users update the plugin to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
