Summary
CVE-2024-11335 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the UltraEmbed – Advanced Iframe Plugin For WordPress with Gutenberg Block Included. This plugin, used in all versions up to 1.0.3, fails to adequately sanitize and escape user-supplied attributes in the 'iframe' shortcode. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious scripts into pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, potentially leading to unintended actions such as data theft or unauthorized system access.
